About The Designer

I am Amanda Simpson and I have been an interior designer for 15 years and have managed health care, corporate, and residential projects. I graduated from Atlanta College of Art with a four year bachelor of fine arts degree in the major of interior design. I then worked for two prominent Atlanta design firms and created my design portfolio as well as expanding my design knowledge and experience. These opportunities allowed me the creative freedom to begin my own successful business.

My design clients have included CEO's of health care and universities as well as corporate private business owners.  The projects have ranged from a woman's health care facility including exam rooms and doctor's offices, and a children's hospital tending to critical care patient needs, to corporate think tanks and product teamwork areas.  Enjoying the business of interior design I decided to focus more upon the one on one aspect of the trade and quickly created my own interior design studio.  This has given me valuable interaction with clients, creating their own personal residential environments.  I truly believe that each project is like the development of a butterfly.  It may begin as a mudded unappealing cocoon and then released and displayed as a colorful creation.  Staging has evolved from my model home decorating experience and in today's competitive market it is blossoming into a successful branch of my design business.
